Do you think there would be any way to incorporate uploading of GPX/KML files? I think that would be interesting so that members could look at the map and see all the routes nearby rather than the start point of the trail? This could also help with planning of bigger overlanding routes where you...
I ordered a step drill bit so that should be no problem. I'm going to try doing this myself this weekend and I will let you know how it goes and if I need assistance at a later time! Thanks!
It looks like I have to drill a 1/2" hole from what I am seeing on other forums. I'm not sure if I have that drill bit but I could always pick up a step bit if I needed to. I have a 20v cordless Black and Decker drill... Should that have enough juice for four holes that big?
Thanks. I'm only available on the weekends but I'll get it done one of these days. I'd be able to do it myself except for the fact I need to drill some holes. I'm not sure I have a big enough drill bit or even a drill that is powerful enough.
Thanks for the offer. It should be in on Friday so hopefully I will install it this weekend.
It's a LOD bumper, made in the good ol' USA. I would have gotten one with a swing away tire carrier but this one will do the job for pretty cheap...
I was thinking of buying one, but I'm leaning towards building one now. I'm just trying to figure out exactly what kind I would want (teardrop, cargo trailer with RTT, or a big utility trailer with RTT).
I think the build process would be fun and I could get a lot more for my money. The issue...
So I should be getting myself a new rear bumper soon so I'll be sure to check back in here to see if anyone wants to lend a hand with the install [emoji4]
That sounds good to me! Maybe a big group of us can get together to discuss some of the trails/areas we would like to explore and then tentatively set some dates to do those runs. I think that would be pretty fun and could give us all some adventures to look forward to in the new year.

Ah I see. I guess I'd have to check in with my local Jeep crew instead if it's a little much for regular exploration.

I'm thinking we should do a LBL trip soon. What do ya'll think? We could hit the Turkey Bay OHV park!
I'm also trying to go down to Adventure Offroad Park sometime for anyone that is interested.

In my Jeep TJ the first things I bought were rock rails and an oil pan skid. After that I did my lift and the last thing I really want is some differential protection.
I'd recommend going out with your rig a few times and seeing if you rub on anything. If you do you will know if you need more...
I would have to say a very steep ascent and very muddy conditions. I'm always nervous to roll backwards on a steep ascent in my Jeep and I hate the thought of getting stuck in the mud (not to mention the endless cleanup).
