We may have to postpone the trip to Stoney until we have a dry week. With all the rain this week it will be muddy and then next weekend is the forecast is rain Friday-Monday... I'll keep an eye on it and we can make a decision mid-week next week about what to do.
I just did an oil change on my Jeep. I drained oil out of the drain plug for about 30 minutes while I rotated my tires. Everything was fine, but when I pulled out the oil filter it was empty (because I drained it for so long?) and I then accidentally dropped it and there was some kind of build...
I'm in the process of buying all my camping gear. I just picked up this Coleman Triton stove on sale at Target for only $30. I figured I would post this on here in case anyone else was looking.
I picked this up today at Target! It's the Coleman Triton and it's on sale for only $30! I couldn't turn it down... Two burner stove with 11,000 BTU output per burner. I still need to get the rest of my camping equipment but I can now cross this off the list [emoji106]
Nothing that I know of. I'm on a Wrangler enthusiast forum and the consensus is it's nothing but a possible cosmetic issue depending on the person. Im running a 2" lift with an adjustable front track bar, but I still have my stock rear in place.

So what's everyone schedule look like? Do you want to go there weekend after next (20 or 21)? Saturday or Sunday work better? As long as it's a dry well there shouldn't be much mud to make things difficult.

I'm not sure what the park is like but I'm sure there are other trails there that we can run too. We can make it an OB trip if anyone else wanted to tag along!
I say we go down and check it out. You'd be surprised where a 2" lift and 31s can take ya. I'll give it a go if it doesn't look too bad and if I make it then you can follow. Sometimes they're recommendations can be a bit over the top.
I looked into it some more and it seems they were just posting the days they were open for night rides in addition to regular hours. I'm still open to go most weekends!
For anyone interested (I know a fee were) there's a ride at Stoney Lonesome in AL on February 3. I think I just might go to grab me a couple badges of honor.
Does anyone have any suggestions about books about camping, adventure, and survival? I was at Barnes and Noble wit the wifey the other day browsing some of the camping books and there were some interesting ones. One that seemed really interesting was "The Backpacker's Field Manual". It had a ton...
