Sweet. Looks like basically stock tires. They need to slap some 235's on that bad boy lol
Btw, @b0wfin I meant to ask you, what's the length center to center of your rear sway bar endlinks? I have a sneaking suspicion they're the same as mine. If they are, I might just buy some quick disconnects.
Chilliwack and Harrison Lake are both a wheeler's paradise. Zillions of back country trails to explore. The Cheam-Thurston loop in particular, fondly known as the Mini Whipsaw, is a great route with incredible views that's located in the Chilliwack River Valley.
Welcome aboard!
Okay, I'll bite. Last thing I bought was my first aid kit.
I hope the next thing I buy is my lift kit and bilstein shocks, but I suspect it's more likely to be the parts for my DIY roof rack. We shall see!
The first pic is photoshop, but the Element is actually based on the CR-V platform and uses an identical RT4wd system. They are pretty cool vehicles and decent off road, but their undercarriage geometry isn't as good. Having said that, I've seen some pretty sick looking lifted Elements and they...
Love the vid! The RD1 CR-V lineage of the Pilot was still very apparent with the 2007 model. Those rear shoulders, the headlights and the hood all scream CR-V to me. I think the wheels are actually the same bolt spec, as I've seen a lot of CR-V's running around on Pilot wheels.
Nice to not be...
That would be awesome :D
I have some parental leave coming up. My first chunk of it was crazy busy, but maybe I can try to find a local teacher this go round.
At least I can sing fairly decently and I know a ton of Irish and Scottish songs as well as sea shanties.
I 100% agree with you that we need to be about it and not just talk about it. That's why I sling up my "poor man's trasharoo" pretty much every time I go out in the back country and end up hauling out tons of trash, 98% of it not mine. I really think if every member of OB made it a point to do...
Much as I am aware that people sometimes grossly exaggerate the "damage" that may be caused by things like out of bounds camping, the fact of the matter is that there are special interest groups out there that are gunning for us and our hobby. If they had their way, people like Sierra Club would...
I'd be interested provided I have my lift and new shocks installed by then. It's unlikely I'd be able to go because of family commitments, though. I have a buddy or two at work who would likely be interested as well. I'll be watching the thread for interest.
Who blew up all the obstacles?? I had never heard of that either. Of course I only really know the trail from youtube videos, mostly Trail Recon's vid series.
