We have a world class mural festival in Botwood, NL. about 30 mins away from my house. The artists came from all over to paint them. I will get some pictures of them all this week and post them. Plus, that will help my portfolio for my photography business. Win Win!
I would not pick either of those for an overlander rig personally. I would get something like a cherokee (new model), or even a XJ if you want an older awesome do it all rig. The Compass and renegade are also viable options. If looking at the newer jeep stuff, trailhawk package is a must for...
Well, we got the tie rod end replaced on the track bar. It made a huge difference to the jeep and it steers SO MUCH BETTER now. There was an additional tie rod with the parts to the jeep, we installed it and it worked perfect. So that's one thing off our list of to do's. Next up is bleed...
Yeah, we will be buying a new trackbar, but we are trying to get it mobile and safe to get inspected. The rest of the tie rods were replaced recently. We need to replace 2 jonny joints on the LCAs too. Again, to be done after inspection.
We had to cut the bolts off. Now, try to get the tie rod end out of the trsckbar sleeve. Rusted in pretty good. We used penetrating oil last night and left it. I'm going heat the sleeve and hope it frees up.
Found the steering issue. it's the track bar. There is an adjustable version on this rig, with a tie rod end at one end. Is this normal? That joint is not tightening up. I can't get the nut to loosen or tighten. I am not sure why I never had crazy death wobble when I was running at 120 kph...
Another one we need to figure out quickly too. The clutch when completely disengaged (pedal down), still is "engaged". Meaning it's really hard to put into gear from a stop. you put a little pressure on the gear shifter, towards first and the jeep will start to roll without the jeep in gear...
First question has to do with the PSC steering box on it. It' has some major play in the steering wheel. More turning right than left. Driving it home, I had amost a quarter turn before it would move the wheels, going left, just a little. I does have a bad tie rod on the right side, but...
Here is my good friends new to him rubicon. It has tons of quality aftermarket gear installed. I am looking for some information regarding getting it all back to tip top shape.
Couple of Poser shots, By my house.....
Down by my Shop in the back of my house.
Time to get wrenching on...
Trail pilot, my friend just picked up a stretched tj rubi. Lots of good parts. May have to fire a few questions at you while we are getting it all fixed up.
I could tell you shoot fuji, Something about the fuji system that makes images "pop" and become "real" Other systems are flat looking. I look at a fuji picture you look at the image, other systems you look at a "photo" with no depth to it. I am starting my own photography business here in...
Go back to the original dealership. Also contact mopar direct. That being said, the Local dealer here is terrible. I will only buy used jeeps and have them serviced elsewhere. I refuse to buy a vehicle off them.
Cool. Acura are very reliable. I have owned many. I still miss my supercharged 2000 integra. It was a hoot. un suspecting mustang and camaro drivers face's were always good for a laugh.
Imo, Kodi is more of a pain than what it's worth. I would just pay for services and be done with it. At least it's reliable and less chance to cause your family member to get upset. I pay for all my content now.
