Get all the mods made to the yaris and take it for a shakedown run loaded to see your actual milage. Gas on the island here is now at 1.61 a liter. Going up again this week too, So 1.65 a liter. Figure out that in US gallons to get your per gallon price. I am all in on this one. As I...
Yes, if I was towing regularly. It will be mostly towing structures around town and close by to various other towns. The truck I have has a 12,000 lb towing capacity ( I am purchasing my fathers 2017 F150 5.0) Most structures are in the 2500-5000lb range. the odd time I would have to move a...
Oh well, that was short lived. HA HA. F150 incoming. I need a truck that can pull at least 10,000 lbs now. We just started a new venture building storage sheds, greenhouses, and other shelters on our site, then trailered to their locations. My truck will be the tow truck for this operation...
Yes. Electronic viewfinder. Some are great some are not so much.
Check out the Panasonic FZ300. weather sealed, great zoom, great image quality. Or my fujifilm X-S1. I love that camera.
I have owned 2 JK wranglers and put a metric shitton of miles on them. my 2011 had 300k (well 298) and my 2014 had 150k on it. I know what a wrangler is and how it drives. I test drove an outer banks model without sqatch package. The running gear would be comparable to my sports I owned...
Oh, I know it's been screamed about for years. But in reality, it's not needed....at all. The v8 will still get terrible gas milage, and the power is not needed. Again, the whole hemi in a jeep, and hellcat in everything else is just a utensil measuring option. I owned a 2011 wrangler with...
I think the TRX is the dumbest idea ever for a truck. 4mpg on the hammer. pointless. Dodge/chrysler has no tricks left, just lets hemi everything. lacks imagination. Even tossing a Hemi in a jeep...again, pointless.
Maybe chev don't want to bother with the boutique trucks. They are not big sellers, only utensil measuring devices really. The tremor, rebel and ZR2 are the bigger sellers. and IMO, the ZR2 is the best of the three just because of the lockers and suspension bits installed stock.
Exactly. The only thing I didn't like about the Colly ZR2 is the seats. I did not find them comfortable. Everything else was AWESOME. Suspension was dialed with those shocks. I can only assume that chevy dialed them in for the silverado ZR2 as well. Steel front bumper, some nice interior...
Created the list I need to do to Pat. Damn, it's a long list. First things first...New front half shafts. I think I have a bad U joint in one of them, replace both to make sure. Then it's suspension work. Going with King springs and Bilstein shocks/struts. Gives us 1.1 inches of lift...
I had the santa cruz out yesterday. While it did drive and ride great, and would be a great rig for us. the extra 10g over the price of the maverick for whizz bang gadgetry inside is not worth the price.
Funny thing, I don't think many were used. I would have loved a pop up top grand caravan with camper internals. Seems like a no brainer. Instead, recon were using nissan nv's. Never understood that one.
Even less so coming into your lap! I was driving from Gander to Grand Falls-WIndsor just outside Gander on top of "repeater hill" a cow and a calf walked out in front of me, I picked the calf and still got 20k of damage. I call them tree cows. ha ha.
