Let's see those full size rigs - Trucks & SUV

As I peruse these pages and see all the trucks and mountains, I feel perhaps I live in the wrong place. I may have posted earlier but couldnt easily find it. So here's more:

Pretty nice work! Oh to have a 6-foor contour gauge! But you did nicely. I went the easier route with my truck and just made it fit between the wheel wells. Then again with so much more roo. I just stuffed gear into the 4 cubbys at the corners. Your space is at a premium and looks like you made...

Hope you plan on replacing or reupholstering your driver's seat afterwards. Looks like you had black beans for lunch then got into a fender-bender

What do they do to give the ZR2 a wider track? Is that just a wider wheel and tire, spacers (y-yikes), or an actual wider axle? Do the Multimatic shocks have different mounting locations?

    Chevrolet Suburban 2500 Overland Build

Yeah. I like that. But they are taking half the bumpah as well. Even just that one strip at the bottom. I thought that was separate? Anyway, nice build. I like that era Tahoe as well. It sort of went back to a minimalist exterior kind of like the big 2 door Blazer Silverados from 92 to 94. I...

    Grey Tundra North Shore

Thought about posting this in that section that announces members who have seen other members, either by meet up or happened to see someone with an emblem parked somewhere. But I dont know if this person has an emblem. I know i dont. Anyway: Grey/Silver Toyota Tundra, black construction type...

You can see by my picture above that even before lifting, you gain quite a bit of clearance and approach angle just by removing that chin strap. I have a metal bumper but if I'm not wrong, yours is plastic. I'd be nervous that when it ripped off, it might take some bumper with it

The front Bil 5100's allow you to raise the spring perch up to an inch and three quarters or so. Did you raise it at all?

There is a US Northwest, a US West. And a US Southwest. But in the east, there is only US East and US SouthEast. We think it should be us NorthEast, US East (Mid Atlantci) and US SouthEast.

There is a NorthWest, but there is not a NorthEast division, and I believe, as others do, that there should be such a division

Er, is this division of the east coast a new feature? Is it divided as such in the forums by location?

Nice work. For a little more clearance at the front you may consider removing that front air dam under the bumper. Helps a lot with parking space curbstone clearance, and other stuff.

    GMC Canyon AT4 OverlandX

Yes however one additional difference is warranty. You wont get any guff, right or wrong, from the dealer on the GM parts that you might get installing other after market. Not a big deal if its paid off. Could be a pain in the arse if it isnt. AT4 is basically a z71 setup, but recently GMC...

Has anyone called out the new Ford Bronco's trail turn assist?

Might help Ace Ventura get his Monte Carlo into the parking space sideways...

Do you keep a knife or hatchet/axe in your rig?

A knife is a knife, and a hatchet is a hatchet. I dont use one as the other unless under duress. No need to have to sharpen a knife because I was playing with it battening, when I have a hatchet. And I'm not cutting steak with my hatchet, although I could, because I recently sharpened the hell...

Ha ha. As I drive through greater Boston and see some Land Cruisers or dolled up trucks running around, those scoop snorkels are known as deuchebag unless and until it is known that they are out there traversing deep water or sandy plains on a regular basis. Not fair, I know, but around here...
