If the Trail Turn Assist is deemed useless by some, I can only imagine how GMC Hummer E1's Crab Walk will be received.
I look at that one and wonder, why cant the driver just turn left and go around the rock, then turn right again. Why does the body of the truck have to remain facing forward...
Tow capacity and haul capacity do affect each other and this is a zero sum calculation! Your Jeep and trailer (you didnt say how you are towing the Jeep) will reduce the amount you can haul in the bed. Likewise, the weight of your Palomino Backpack in the bed will reduce the amount you can tow...
"Both air and nitrogen respond similarly to The Ideal Gas Law, which says temperature and pressure are directly related. For tires, this means every 10-degree change in ambient temperature will result in approximately 1 psi [of] change in tire inflation pressure. This change is the same for...
This might sound crass but I mean no offense...
Nitrogen is not at all worth the extra cost, and provides no more real world benefit unless you are driving in NASCAR or driving on the surface of the moon.
Problem with Air Tag is that it only connects to ultra wide band iPads and iPhones. It uses them as a network and puts them into the "fund my iphone" .
Range: 30 feet.
So, if your thief carrys an iPhone, you're in luck. If not, location updates could be sporadic at best. This probably works...
There were stories in the news last year of GM trucks that were found stripped by the time they were tracked even with OnStar and whatnot. The same applies to any make and model. With those devices, you are really only deterring or catching the amateurs or the ones that just suck at thier "job."...
No. Those are domestic vehicles. You can still drive your 1964 GTO or '57 Chevy, so you can still drive your XJ and CJ. The Delica is a Foreign produced vehicle for a foreign market, not originally produced for the US market, so at the time of manufacture, they did not have to conform tobUS...
Au contraire, mon frere. None of the vehicles from the 1920's through probably the 1960's (say, Ford Model T through Chevy Chevelle) would pass today's safety standards, yet they are domestic and a grandfathered in. Seriously. And these, while accepted federally, are being not only turned away...
I was in a van-oriented overland/offroad shop here in Mass last weekend. Just drove by and saw the place so I stopped in.
This is what he had in the shop, a customer's vehicle. Not mine. Maine and Rhode Island are banning these, but so far Mass has not. This is not mine, but it was cool to see...
I've got a '99 with the 4.0 and select trac. It's been great, although I have neglected it somewhat. At one time, I put a bit of work into it. Pretty mild - 2" Iron Rock OffRoad coil spring lift with Pro Comp 9000 series shocks. New isolators and Moog anti sway bar links.
Most if my other work...
Hey
I lived about 15 miles from you, back in the early 80's. That's a great area for hiking and camping. Hiked Black Mountain as a boy, went to Lake Goerge, did a lot of exploring and walked the wooded areas quite a bit back then. Fall time Balloon festival was a sight, too.
Still got family...
Like painting the gauges white? Or extreme negative rear wheel camber? Installing nitrous? Or affixing a red "Type R" badge on a base model anything? Slamming a pickup to the ground? Red tow hooks? Replacing the tailgate with a net?
Ugh!
My girlfriend has a 2013 GMC Sierra Denali AWD. That's one of the most comfortable rides I've been in. Goes over potholes like nothing, where my truck lurches and lists.
An 09 Toyota Rav 4 or older Honda CRV might do you well, too.
