Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Looking for any really, I don't think there is a market state side for these vehicles to be offroaded. I've found some in Australia and the Pacific and a bit over in Europe. Rockstar made a special one for 2016 SEMA, so there was some ideas there. Clearly, not the clamoring for Hyundai off-road...
Yea, one of the things I didn't consider when I started this hobby is that I would run into people that went a long way to be alone and not get run into. I always wondered why they were so close to the road then.
Circumnavigate the entire state, north to south and east to west, on nothing but...
I've had little luck finding a mainstream market here, so i'm reaching out to see if any other members of this site know where those crazy few of us on the fringes of true offroad rig ownership can go to get the parts we need?
next step would be to find measurements, then go in search of...

You were standing by your tail gate eating a sandwich, presumably surfing OB forums, in the parking lot at Rollins Reservoir. I was lugging around a bunch of half blown up floaties resembling food products and I asked about your trip and the snow level in the Sierra. As I was walking...
Just off i80 in Colfax, CA. If you are at all adventurous you will likely end up in this part of the state doing some dirt work. It's lovely up here and we have so much dirt to be worked. If you haven't yet, use your google-0-meter to look up plumas back country discovery trail and lassen back...
good way to go about the tasks of learning about your vehicle and networking with like minded individuals. i am up north, or I'd invite you by for a beer.
Bob Scott Campground is kinda the middle of NV, on the 50. Great place to stop.
Walker lake is a beautiful spot to stop, if you don't mind scenery without life. It's worth a stop, but don't bother fishing.
Topaz lake over on the 395 border with CA is pretty nice too. Great views there.
Great report. Always love pictures and I enjoyed the set up you used to display them. May have to play with that a bit, refreshing after the typical scrolling picture show.
Does the Trinity or Shasta have a Back Country Discovery Trail set up? If you google "Plumas back country discovery...
Love me some Oregon!! If you resize the pics a bit, they will be easier to enjoy. on this 42in screen they still require me to scroll down to see them all.
The last leg of our journey is the most familiar to me and therefore the least photographed. With the majority of the piloting duties, thus far, being under my belt I was happy to let my beautiful co-pilot take over so I could get some rest. The views from Teec Nos Pos (the monument) all the way...
Back in the days of old, when surveyors were out in the remote parts of our country doing what surveyors do, someone determined that the boundaries of 4 states should meet at one random point in the middle of the high desert of the southwest. I've asked around the Navajo community in Farmington...
No sadly. Once again I drove through at high speed and only appreciated what I could see in the fading light. On my short list of wants is a week or two for exploring the whole Swell and Capitol Reef area. 99.9% of this trip is all pavement.
