Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
That is true, but that sand gets in EVERYWHERE. It is very fun to drive but it is not good for the vehicle. After our last time there my wife made me promise we won’t go back
As already mentioned it could be very snowy in some parts, muddy in other areas, but unpredictable everywhere.
I would probably be able to join you for sections in NJ (if you do take that way), PA, NY, CT, MA and VT for a Wednesday and Thursday.

MABDR is the Mid Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route and NEBDR is the North East BDR
The Trans Georgia Trail would take about 3-4 days from the AL/GA border to SC just south of NC. I’m sure someone has a route that could connect you to the MABDR which is 9 days up from where Tenn, NC and VA meet to the NY/PA border. That ends just a few hours drive from the start of the NEBDR...
Because I was not aware of free camping in GWF I paid for 3.5 days at #1 Rock River Tavern Kamp. It is popular for its yurts and there is a sign there that reads “glamping at it’s finest”.
