Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Looks like I will be doing some 1-3 legs of NEBDR (NY-VT) starting this Sunday. Might be meeting another OB member near NY/MA. I would love to do the entire route to Maine but I will have to wait for summer and take a few days off of work
@Berkshires the Baofeng UV5R is awesome for 25$. I have both licenses and use it for both. You can monitor VHF and transmit GMRS on it if you wanted to. From my kitchen I have made contact with people in Kingston NY

Do you use ham or GMRS?
I think I’ve seen some people use that on YouTube. I think the goal of 2 pumps is to increase the air volume. The splitter still takes about the same time to fill, but a bit easier and fancier. Wow... that splitter is expensive

Looks like I am going to give the entire NY leg of the NEBDR going East to West, which fortunately seems to be run right through all the parts that are a little slower on changing leaves and should have some good views.
