Just a photo from last weekend.

Awesome, thanks. I've heard from a lot of people that they are stiff, but stiff is objective. Cheers Frank!

I could never justify that. Do you find the Fox's to be stiff on the road?

I'm thinking of purchasing those, possibly the adjustable ones. How do they ride on the road?

This is an interesting thread. I want to try the a portion of the WABDR this winter. Might need a set of these myself.

The start of the rear JKU storage system.

Looks like the best carpenter you know is the little guy! I'll be interested to see how this turns out, drawer systems are so helpful.

Do you happen to have a KML or GPX track? Also, did you explore side trails like Telegraph Creek?

    2014 Jeep Wrangler JKU

I got around to replacing the OEM headlights, which Jeep owners know are rubbish. In their place went some KC LED Lights. I haven't had a chance to test them at night with no street lights, but LEDs surely beat the stock Halogen lights.

what form of gps do you use?

I use Hema Explorer on an iPad Mini (3g) and an iPhone 6. Hema works offline, and you can map your entire route (speed, height, mile marker based on time of day, etc.)

Not a bad place to spend the night. Only your feet will bring you to the base of the Mt. Davis though.

    1995 LR Discovery 1 Build

It's nice to see a another member from the Lower Mainland here. Love your build too - when I was in London I was constantly drooling over all the Land Rover's.

Welcome, Subaru's are awesome. Yours reminds me of a time when we pulled some guy out of a terrible mud hole in a Subaru at midnight after we spotted headlights across the lake that would not turn off. Best of luck on your build, try not to get stuck like that guy.

    Strobing LEDs

Turns out that the 7" KC headlights aren't DRL compatible. I turned off my DRL with my Flashpaq and voila, problem solved.

    Strobing LEDs

So I installed. Set of KC Headlights yesterday, they worked fine all day/night. This afternoon when I start the jeep up, they start flickering/strobing like crazy, but only when the Jeep is in gear. Also, once high or low beams are engaged, the strobing/flickering stops. When I removed one...

    The Overland Orca: 2003 Tacoma

I had never seen anyone else put their tent in the back of their bed like you had. My mate use to do that all the time before he sold his Tacoma. One time he even drove around town with it setup in the back as we ran some errands - oh the memories.

I've got to ask, did the rock nail the bumper on the departure of that rock with the black Jeep? And off topic, how does the owner like the remote reservoir shocks on his rig?

    4x4 Training?

Getting out there on the trails with friends is a great way to learn. The information available here is great too and to supplement that, I found Andrew St Pierre's videos to be really good when I first jumped into the offroad world.
