Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I would highly recommend Hi-Vis Overland. They have great soft shell tents and a new clamshell tent, plus will be coming out with a hardshell as well in the future. Veteran owned company out of Clover, South Carolina. Brad the owner is fantastic and will answer any questions you have.
Thanks, I've always been a Silverado guy, but i've really enjoyed building this one out. Need to add my Krazy Beaver shovel to the bed rack, and eventually MaxTrax and I think I'm good. I look the back seats out and put in a platform for my Dometic fridge, so my build is almost complete for the...
Great looking Trail Boss! I have a 2017 Silverado Z71. Kind of wish I had waited another year or so to get the Trailboss. But it is what it is. I'm in Charlotte, NC and out camping quite often, would love to have you out anytime you want. Truck picture below, the tent is old, but dont have a new...
Just wanted to start a thread and see who all might be attending the James River RTTR put on by Blue Ridge Overland Gear. Myself and @THorner and @Sasquatch SC will all be attending.
For anyone who doesn't have tickets already, unfortunately due to Covid, they limited the event to 200 people...
I've had a CVT (on a trailer), Hi-Vis, Roam Adventure Co and now a BunduTec.
What I can say is I wish I wish I would have went with the BunduTec earlier. Its' pricey, but a phenomenal roof top tent. I have the regular size.
Both CVT & Hi-Vis were soft shell tents, and i'll be honest, the CVT...
Charlotte, NC here. Explored a bunch of the mountains in NC, along with the Outer Banks and South Carolina. Heading west in May for a big trip. Pic from the Outer Banks in April, and then the new BunduTec tent I just picked up a couple days ago
Well haven't had to take it out yet after a year. It certainly limits what I can transport with the bed rack. It's tied down with 4 J-hooks, one in each corner of the bed and then the screws down the center. So would be a pretty big pain to take out consistently
More updates haha. Had some issues with the Roam tent, and they offered me a full refund. With that said, I went and got the tent I wanted from the beginning, the BunduTec BunduTop electric tent. Drove all the way to Iowa over the weekend to get it. Can't wait to get out and use it now.
