Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Thanks! We actually have an amazing group of rigs in our camping group, Subaru Outback, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel. Its a fantastic group. My exhaust is a Borla. It didn't come with the truck when I got it, so I contacted the dealer and made sure I was adding the upgraded exhaust...
I would definitely try a 2 or 3 inch topper first and throw it on the existing tent mattress and see how it feels. I bought a cheap twin sheet from Walmart for like $4 on put that on the topper as well and then I can wash it after trips. See if the tent will close with both mattresses, I'm sure...
What kind of tent do you have? Soft Shell, Hard shell? I bought a 3" topper off amazon and just added it to the already 3" mattress that came with the tent. When I have my soft shell, it did make it a little bit more difficult to fold close, but still worked. Now that I have my hard shell, it...
Hey, does anyone have any tips on what battery to go with for my dual battery set up? I already have a 2nd tray under the hood ready to go. The area is about 12" x 8" and roughly 7 1/4" tall and i'm having a hard time finding a battery that will fit. Has anyone already added a dual battery to...
Looking awesome. I went in a little different direction with my 2017 Silverado and just did a straight platform, although I dont intend to ever put the back seats back in haha
Looking for some advice and help on suspension for my Silverado. Its all stock for the most part, except for a leveling kit i added after i bought it that is Rancho. Haven't heard great things about Rancho since so not sure if I should look to change those.
The main issue i have right now is...
Step 1 complete with the back of my 2017 Crew Cab Silverado. Platform and back wall is in and secured. Next up is laying the carpet on the platform and wall and securing the fridge behind the driver seat. Last step will be the drawers and cubby hole for my griddle.
Yea I'm leaning on not getting a winch, as I think a lot of the bumpers with a winch mount are just too big and bulky. I know people will try to say I need a winch..but I stick to forest roads and such, and don't intend to ever do any crazy roads
I’ve been looking at front bumpers for awhile. Westin and DV8 are really the only ones I’ve come across for my 2017 Silverado. I’m pretty picky though. I don’t want something that sticks out to far, I’d like it to blend in as good as possible. Haven’t found any rear bumpers I like yet. Hoping to...
A group and I did Cape Lookout last September, just days before Dorian hit. I would definitely love to go back this year with a bigger group for 4-5 days at least. Its such a relaxing and enjoyable place to spend some time
I know we had one last month at the garage shop...but figured not everyone made it out to that. We did the last one in late November or early December at the White Water Center....but it is $6 just to get in and park, so would prefer to avoid that
