Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Actually I know I can't do that weekend. A lacrosse event on the 14th and men's basketball on the 15th.
Don't plan anything around my schedule this time of the year. It is always in flex and I can't guarantee anything up until the day before. Sometimes not even then...
To many clients, to many...
Try Drummond Island, Michigan... Part of the allure there is that it is so remote. You will need to check ferry schedules. But, there are over 100 miles of trails that are fantastic... I've literally done the entire Island with my family and they loved it. here are a few pics from the last time...
With my 2 cents, I would respectfully disagree with the above.
My list for vehicles always starts out with protection/armor and recoverability.
That translates into skids plates, tow points, and winch...
In that order. Put skids on to protect what you have. Helps prevent damage on the trail that...
The pic where the boulders are in the road... Is that the local blockage?
I'm sure a few of us hooked inline could move enough of them far enough for us to pass...
So, I have a Jeep JKU that is fairly well set up. I'm the type of person who likes to have a place for everything so that when I need it, I can get it quickly without hassle. So now comes the question. I have an AEV rear bumper and tire carrier. I also have a PullPal and HiLift jack. I don't...
All good advice. The one big thing that I'm afraid most will over look... is...
And props for mentioning it a little in the initial thread...
I'm Mentioning it again because I feel it is as important as the hand signals...
Exact communication is very important when spotting someone over...
I kind of like both the idea of a pic with many rigs on it and just one camping...
While one says we all off-road. The other says we camp...
I think both are good. Maybe do a run of both and also post of the final designs to let others choose which one they like.
Printing is cheap... shipping...
In retrospect we probably should have posted about this trail ride here instead of in the Ohio group post...
We all decided to meet up and head down to Vinton County for a little trail ride on some of the "unmaintained roads" in the area. I feel like we all had a great time. We learned about...
Yeah... I thought about that last night...
I'll go ahead and create a new thread in the trips section...
So, here is a link to the new thread...
Please post pictures up there from the trip.

yeah, after seeing That photo of the Cherokee tipped at the creek exit. For them to let one of their own take a line like that... Pretty much confirms what I told all of you.
I'm glad to have met and wheeled with all of you, thank you for coming and hopefully we can plan some more trips!
What a great group of guys,
Thank you all for coming. It was a lot of fun.
Here is all of us up on Picture hill...
Some of us did a little bit of three wheeling...
The river crossing was fun and we all got out without any damage.... That anyone spoke of.
