Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I know plenty of people with a dometic. If I didn't already have my arb I would own a dometic. I will eventually wnt to upgrade to a bigger unit and when I do it will likely be a dometic.
I wouldn't worry about getting a ham license for this. I don't have my ham license yet but do have a handheld ham I can monitor. If you want a good handheld ham look into baofeng radios
As Raul said you'll be fine. I will have a cb and ham with me So we can figure out good channels to monitor and I will post them in the original thread. I also have a winch and plenty of recovery gear if needed :)
Awesome.. Thank you. I live in lake arrowhead and we just got 2.5 feet of snow so I have plenty of snow driving experience from 32 years of living up in the mountains. Sounds like an awesome trail. May be something I'll have to run in the spring.
I have 3 Princeton Tec headlamps that are pretty awesome. For $20 each it's hard to beat them. That being said, I am giving thoughts to going to one that is rechargeable for my main source of light. Any suggestions for rechargeable ones is appreciated.
I like this idea.. But honestly I'm lazy and have tons of storage room in my truck bed so I carry 2 20 lb propane tanks for heating pretty much anything. Looks like a cool product though.
This looks like a fun run. I assume it can be run in both directions? Is it full-size friendly? Are there any sections where rocker or underbody protection is required?
