Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
As soon As I land at the camp site I will log on here and post coordinates. Assuming I have cell service. From what I gather there is a high plateau near those coordinates that is nice to camp on. I will for sure get on here as soon as I land in camp. Should be around noon Friday.
I'm not sure if anyone plans in a run. I probably won't go but the weekend is kinda just a do what ya want kinda weekend so if a few of you want to make a run, roll with it.
I've only run a portion of the road and the portion I ran had some tight spots but that was years ago. I haven't been recently. My real point is, if you drive a full-size always count on pinstripes and you'll never be too upset if you get them.
I use a standard curt 2" front mount hitch on my dodge to house my winch. I did find a company that makes a hitch that mounts from the tow good mounting points in the middle of the front bumper. Had I known that was an option I would have done that to get the winch up higher.
I say winch first. My truck currently has only a limited slip rear and an open front. I also have a front winch. For anyone that goes out alone I think a winch is a better option.

Beware... I was talking to my buddy at Leitner designs who is a dealer for them. They are blow molded instead of rotomolded which makes them less expensive, and is fine as most all other fuel cans are blow molded. That being said, if you already had a standard rotopax can, none of the mounting...
