From the pic it looks like the red power went to green and the black ground went to the white/black. I suggest checking it with a multi-meter or test light.

I pulled the original 12v outlet and cut the wires, soldered and heat shrink the connection. I did have to open the hole a little to make it fit, it's not and exact fit so it's a permanent change. @joshjunior if you want a day trip through the forest without off-roading, I suggest Hwy 7 north to Russellville then follow I-40 to White Oak and then Hwy 23 (Pig trail) North. This is a beautiful ride through the NF and has a few places to stop...

I do my planning in Google maps and save as a gpx for MotionX on the iPad. This is a link to my saved route in Google Maps. I have a Gaia account but haven't had a chance to try the route planning option in it yet.

That area would be great, I had a trip planned for that area but had to cancel so I haven't had the pleasure but hear great things. Heading west from Hot Springs on over to OK (just south of Mena) is the Trans-Ouachita trail which is what I planned to run.
