Created pretty sparks this evening :P

Then removed the old Hella lights that were on my car when I bought it and relocated the licenceplate.

More changes will be made to it this year

Nice job. :sunglasses: Are you going to add different lights to the front?

Got my hitch mount folding cargo carrier. I'm not only using this for extra cargo, but as a step up and platform for my truck tent. I also made the plywood extension for my mattress. I cut slits in it so that my metal cargo clips slip thru and I use some farmer pins thru those to keep the plywood from tipping out.IMG_1136.JPG IMG_1137.JPG IMG_1139.JPG IMG_1142.JPG IMG_1139.JPG IMG_1142.JPG

Worked on the tire carrier some this week. It’s been slow with the weather but so far so good. The angle is welded to the hitch mounts and the 2x4 will be welded to the angle and tacked to the crossmember. The bumper cover still fits over everything so that’s a big plus.

Nice. I’m registered in Uber but have never driven for them yet. I’m not sure it would be worth it in a lifted jeep lol

I think that it depends on your market. Some days have been good for me, others not so much. Truck gets anywhere between 13-16 MPG. I go through about $25/day in gas and run anywhere between 100-200 miles. It's extra money. My market isn't big enough to make it a good wage; it would be a different story in Seattle, Portland or San Francisco.

Nice job. hope you post a pic of the completed project.

Met with GaMtn80 and went up FS road 630 in GA a part of the Georgia Traverse to lake Conasuega. We are going to plan an overlanding trip covering all of the traverse that goes through the national forest. Good times.

Over the past week.... installed MORryde tailgate hinges and changed differential fluid. Also had new axle shaft u-joints and G2 ball joints installed.

This weekend took the FJ on a trip, camped in the snow (4 degrees Sat. night), got home and the Amazon fairy delivered the rest of the parts I needed to finish my tablet mount. All in all a great St. Patty's weekend!
