What does that mean, exactly? Was the "attack" initiated through Phishing (some 90% are)? PII info exposed, etc?

Will you be reaching out to members individually?
I have asked Michael to reply to this question, he can explain what happened best.

Hi Andrew,

No PII was compromised. Though we have safeguards for bot registrations, this source was able to create accounts. Once accounts were created, they were able to create posts just as any other public user of the forums, and did so. They had no more access than any other user. We have put safeguards in place to prevent this.
