As the title states... I've gotten over 1,000 spam emails from OB this morning. What the _ is going on?!?!?

I had that happen years ago with the site (like 10 years ago) I ended staying off the forum for about 5 or 6 years after unsubscribing from everything

What does that mean, exactly? Was the "attack" initiated through Phishing (some 90% are)? PII info exposed, etc?

Will you be reaching out to members individually?

Hi Andrew,

No PII was compromised. Though we have safeguards for bot registrations, this source was able to create accounts. Once accounts were created, they were able to create posts just as any other public user of the forums, and did so. They had no more access than any other user. We have put safeguards in place to prevent this.
