I've been in the process removing decals and emblems from my truck. I just like the clean look of a vehicle free of the decor. That being said I have made an exception for these emblems as they are just way to cool to not show off. So I placed one on the rear glass of the ARE topper. I feel it's both stately and modest. The CJs exterior just seemed too unpolished and patina for the emblem. I hope I don't get hate mail for not sucking it up and placing in on the exterior sheet metal.

I couldn't find very many flat spots on the exterior sheet metal of my '17 Tacoma, so I went with an unorthodox placement of at the end of the truck bed on the driver's side by the tail light.
