What's your MPG (fuel economy) on the road.

My last truck was an F350 dually, with the two boss package 4.30 gears, and nearly 4tons. Best I could do was 14mpg. And with a 38gal tank, for a while when the pumps were still set to shut off at $75 it was always sticker shock. But it would go for a while on that range, so I forgot about the shock in time for the next fill up :)

1971 Landcruiser FJ40 gets around 12-13 no matter how fast its going and the H2 gets around 14 on the highway, hand calculated. Funny everyone says these H2 are so bad with fuel but reading through this entire thread seems it is right on par with the same vehicles of size and weight.

After looking at what everyone else is getting, I don't feel too bad about the 10-12 MPG I get with my Suburban. Because it is paid for I can afford the bad mileage. If I was making a $400+ car payment, the mileage would kill me.

Whew I don't feel bad for only getting 10-13 mpg after ready most responses here lol. This is mostly unloaded with a 6" lift, 35" a/t tires, camper shell on 100% of the time, tire hitch carrier with full size tire, on a 2500hd. I mostly get between 10-11 city and 11-13 on the freeway lol.

This one will do right around 20 MPG if I hold it to 70-75 (hand calculated, I haven't corrected the speedo for the 35"s). It starts to drop off quickly after 75 MPH. With the 60 gallon fuel tank my unloaded range is around 1,200 freeway miles:
This one I need to hand-calculate a freeway run soon (also not corrected for tire size, sorry) but IIRC I was seeing something like 16-17 indicated on the last trip, so maybe 18 real-world):
This one I just did 150 miles today and including some traffic, city driving, and sitting in a drive-through car wash (with a line) it was at 18.4... I was pretty impressed, I'd guess at 75 it's knocking down about 19 MPG!!!:

I've only calculated precisely on a couple trips using GPS because 40+ year old gauges are mostly for entertainment purposes. 33" 3.54 gears with a 401 V8. Flat Highway miles 60-63: 15.5 mpg YES!!!! Mixed Highway miles : 13 YES!!!! Daily grind around town: 12 YES!!!!! The good news is towing, not towing, hot, cold, family loaded, solo...12. All the time 12.

Those are hand-calculated based on Google or other GPS distances. If I use the trip computer even just for mileage not actual MPG it comes out lower.

I can go about 550km on 60L of fuel if I push it right to the end, so about 9.16km/L I believe. If I'm not mistaken, that comes out to about 35.54 MPG.

Teh_Viking what work have you done to the engine? What speed do you run?
Best I can work out of our 99 7.3 is 14.5mpg. I run 33's and have 4:10 gears. I which the tach and not the speedo - truck likes 1,900 to 2,200 rpm.
Pretty sure we lose some maybe 1.5 to 2mpg due to the lift kit, roof rack and awnings we have on the truck.

Highway, not loaded, 82mph, 17mpg. Around town, 12. On a 3,600 mile trip to Wyoming and back, crossing the Rockies, pulling a 1,500# teardrop, about 14. Doing some trails on the same trip without the teardrop, still around 14.
