What tires do you like? (Merged Thread)

I ran Goodyear Dura tracs on my wrangler and was very happy with how they sound on road, and did well off road. But I am looking at the Toyo RT for the truck due to 45000 mile warranty and they are semi aggressive.

Thank you everyone for the input. Guess it's time for some new tires ASAP @WUzombies
She'll get some new shoes tomorrow for sure. Guess it's gonna be a long day looking for the perfect tire. Since I'm on paternity leave right now and only getting 60% of my check I also have to see what fits my new fatherhood budget Again thank you everyone you guys are awesome.

I ran Goodyear DuraTracs on my Xterra and they were amazing. Honestly the best tire I've ever owned. Looked awesome, great snow traction, expensive though. I have general grabber at2's on my jeep right now and I can complain. They don't look as aggressive and cool as the DuraTracs, but they are like $50 a tire cheaper. I haven't had them too long, but in the little bit of dirt and mud they saw before the snow hit they did fine. They have been good in the snow too.

Have you looked in to cooper discoverer StMaxx? I currently run them on my 4Runner and I'm very happy with them. It's kind of a hybrid between at/mt.

I second the coopers. I run cooper discoverer ATPs and could not be more impressed with them on and off road. The loaner truck I'm driving atm are also coopers; cooper discoverer s/t. I can't say how they perform because it ain't mine to trash but they look pretty aggressive compared to mine.

Hope that helps.

@administrator or one of the moderators: How about merging this thread into TreXTerra's previous and well populated "Tire Talk" discussion to make it easier to find in the future?
Maybe @administrator could sticky it in Q&A or somewhere it can be easily found. I bet this question will come up frequently.

Or any of the moderators. Just check each of the two threads in the forum list, click the "other actions" button, and select "merge". Then after merging, the combined thread can be renamed, moved to Q&A, and stickied. Easy Peasy! :smirk:
