What is your favorite Go-To knife for overlanding.

I love knives. I bring at least 5 knives when camping. Just because.

2 kitchen knives (chef and paring).
1 outdoor knife (for wood and miscellaneous)
2 pocket knives (wife and I use it as a steak knife)
Also a spear, for fun and defense against a coyote or lion. It's fun throwing it at downed trees.
Also 2 multitools, but rarely use the blades as I have knives.

This'll handle pretty much anything.

I carry a Leatherman surge, and have for almost a decade now. Its heavy but its been so handy. Before that I had a few different SOG multitools. When camping I have a old pilots survival knife a friend gave me close to 20 years ago

I inherited a yellow Case knife just like that from my dad-sweet little tool. Interesting story one of the spring bars broke on it a couple of years ago and I contacted Case about it-they repaired the knife and cleaned it up at no cost. Great customer service as I have no idea how old the knife is but my dad passed away 44 years ago!

That is awesome.

I keep a Morakniv Companion in every vehicle as well as one in my day bag. Cheap, sharp, and durable. I don't have to baby it or care about it beyond the occasional sharpening.

For daily use, I carry a Gerber Diesel.

I bought one based on your recommend, I'm really liking it. Was only $16 on Amazon.
