I’m running a 5th gen 4Runner and I mounted my Yaesu FTM 400 under the passenger seat and built a mount for the face place!

Just dropped a new Optima Yellow D35 into the Runner, installed a Midland 75-822 CB with glass mount antenna (bc they’re cheap, portable and reliable #revivecbradio) and added a bunch of small gear to my BOB. Also, a PSD molle system rack from Orange Boxx Fabrications is on the way...

just ordered this from Scott @ Compact Camping Concepts, The Roof Top Tent Insulator by Tepui for my Smitty bilt 2783 RTT. The "Kukenam/Autana" is the size that fits Smittybilt 2783 RTT (95 inch W x 56 inch L x 51 inch High)

Ok I did it. I am making a diy rack. I ordered all of the aluminium extruded. $730cdn including shipping.
This is $1200 cheaper than the rhino-rack or the front runner solution that use the same material.
It’s not going to look as nice but it should perform and accept all the same mods.
