Someday I would like to hear the story behind this little mascot. I visit your area every so often so don't be surprised if I show up at one of your rigs and coffee meetups. Family in Killeen
Some old song or something...
Yep, there is that. Still, there's a sordid story.
Oh boy. With the definition of sordid, maybe I don’t want to know…I’ll just leave it with the movie thoughts.

sordid: adjective
Morally degraded: synonym: base.
Dirty or filthy
Squalid or wretched.
Oh, it's not that bad. He's just been my mascot for a couple of decades and started as a "news reporter".

I put my rack on this week to go camping and my back power panel I installed a couple years back was dead. Took about 4 hours of troubleshooting to find that a butt connector had corroded from moisture infiltration due to my poor weather insulation. The entire black heat shrink was full of green corrosion and it was losing over 7v at the junction. So I replaced this piece and everything was back on track, but due to the delayed start we stayed at a campground which is not at all normal for us. But still fun! We put our heater (it is North Idaho) and our PullKitchen to use again.

Also I got in the new 5 gallon Rotopax which fits perfectly on the back of my PullKitchen. It was built to hold two 2 gallon units, so it’s now just one tank and adds an additional gallon.

I was gonna do an elbow piece for the pick up line and then got lazy and just used a heat gun to create more bend in the pick up. Haha

I was thinking of starting a thread for my slow and bumpy progress on my truck...seems like this thread would be hijacked as I have a lot going onbut not sure of a better spot? advice on forum etiquette? best way to go about it? thank for your patience.

The fact that you asked shows a lot! There is a section for build threads. I started mine about 10 months ago and just kept adding to it! It does take time and more effort than I expected trying to “pause” to take pictures while trying to accomplish a task. Best O’luck!

Spent the weekend making progress on my new camp cooking drawer. I still need to get the pump, plumbing, and electrical lined out so I can get the shell on and painted but I'm eager to get it back into the Xterra and get back out there again.
