Oh, and this spring I plan to remove the windguard, strip it down, repaint it, and have a "overlandbound.com" vinyl decal on the way for it.

Nice drawers. I'm hoping that's next weekends project.

Wilco Offroad Hitchgate Max installed. Doing my own 4 gallon Rotopax mount, and may even stack 2 packs. Nice bonus - rear glass opens/clears without opening the carrier.

Very happy with this solid setup.
This is perfect! I've got a Jeep WK also and I've been semi-looking around, but now I'm sold. Thanks for sharing!

Trying to get ready for a beach trip in two weeks... added a leaf to the rear, working on a tire carrier out of scrap metal from work, building some custom leaf spring mounts on the front to lift the front up a tiny bit more and change my pinion angle so my driveshaft will fit and my steering will be correct.

IMG_20170219_122753470.jpg Just washed the rig and started detailing the inside. So much to do after all the recent trips with all the snow and salt.

I had pulled my Cobra 75-WX-ST out of my FJ Cruiser and finally finished the install in my 2016 4Runner. Had the antenna mounted and ran cable, had a sweet match when put on the meter, but hadn't done the finish work in the center console. Was struggling with the location. Completely done and super happy with it all.

What did I do with my rig today? I used it as a tree substitute!

It was 68° yesterday, and 61° today in northern Ohio, where the average high for today is 38°. Yesterday broke the record by almost 10°. Normally this picture would have snow piled up at least as high as the ends of the hammock!

I finished the fab and install of my rocker switch panel. Need to build and run the wire harness down the a-pillar and into the engine compartment. I had never worked with Fiberglass before this project and it took me quite a while with a ton of sanding to get it completed but I think it turned out great. What do you guys think?20170219_120951-1024x768.jpg 20170219_121003-1024x768.jpg 20170219_120956-1024x768.jpg

you could make that work I am sure.. I am not sure of the measurements but You might be able to just cut the center out and put switches in there. That is perfect already.

That looks great. I've been thinking of how to do something similar using the panel and wiring I already have in place for old Lexus Link stuff in my GX470.
