Weekend meet and opportunity to shake down your winter camping preparations at Scotland's Highest Pub.

We will endeavour to put together some training modules to ensure everyone gets the full benefit of the weekend. Anyone willing to offer their expertise is greatly appreciated.

This is also a recce for a bi-monthly meet up location.

Make sure you bring fire wood and Toffee Vodka.

In my experience, keep that bloody door closed and the fire lit.
Always keep the stew pot topped up.
Bring enough beer and wine to last until spring.
...alternatively...is there a meet up in Seville at that time of year too? ...just asking :-)

Yes I might be up for that if its my weekend off but I'm not bringing my toffee vodka, you'll drink it all again.

The meet/camp will be outside the Wanlockhead Inn itself, so no need for us to find a campsite, I'm sure a fire wont be a problem and probably best to bring some firewood if possible. I'll check with James who runs the inn if fires are okay

I'll try and ring James tomorrow Dave, let them know you'll be the first to arrive, we should be there Saturday
[/QUOTE

Thats great Aaron thanks, might be a couple arriving in the afternoon.
Feel free to give him my number 07557 508443 if any issues.

I’ll be bringing the frontier stove so if open fires are an issue we should still be ok.
