I am two months into owning a 1994 GMC Suburban that was converted to an overland rig. Got some great miles in the PNW in June and am chomping at the bit to get back out there with wife and grandkids. View attachment 203728View attachment 203729View attachment 203730View attachment 203731

Very cool. Nice to see what's been done to make the interior more comfortable and functional.

I had a 69 Chevy Carryall (early Suburban) that I drove the piss out of all over the US and Canada. A ton of road stories connected to that rig. Wish I still had it.

Good luck as you explore more with yours!

Where was this? Looks like PINS.

Yep, I think it was. I hit a few places around the NW side of the Gulf, just after spending a few weeks adventuring south of I-10 in Cajun country. There's a lot to see and many places to go from Galveston on down. Still have a lot there I haven't yet explored enough.

Love that place. Always empty once you get past the day trippers.

Here’s my 09 GX470.
3” Dobinsons lift, front and rear bumper, Smitty-built wench, front and rear ARB lockers, roof rack and 33” Nitto Trail Grapplers on 17” Icon wheels.
Makes me smile just to look at it in the driveway.
Oh yeah- just installed the RSG rock sliders last week - ready for my Durango trip!
