So I did a thing on Saturday. Sold my white trailer bed for cash and acquired a Datsun trailer as partial trade! Call me crazy but a couple reasons why I switched the wife felt like the camper was a coffin and when I switched her to the RTT it was about 7’ off the ground. When we were testing it out it happened to be windy and unstable and didn’t think it would be safe enough for the three kiddos to sleep in. So I spent the whole weekend prepping/building the new build for the Rendezvous. Tomorrow I will hopefully be doing an axle flip to lift it and getting some bigger wheels/tires.

Anyone done the south west part of the OAT from Sayre to Mangum, Mangum to Mt Scott and Mt Scott to Sulphur Springs? Gonna be doing it this weekend with the wifey.View attachment 127614
My son and I followed the OAT from Altus to Mead a few weeks ago. Honestly it was pretty boring. Pretty much all blacktop. There was one section near Elmore City (roughly) that was interesting, curvy gravel road through private property that connected a lot of oil well sights.

Out at Lake Okemah. Took the camper as is a new tradition for thanksgiving. Camper and lake within 2 hours if house. Pork roast. Rosemary potatoes and honey glazed carrots. Dutch oven or on the grill. With apple and pear damper for desert. 1128191346.jpeg1128191332.jpeg
