OB SouthWest rendezvous

What's the point of having this site versus FB. What I see is this is for members and up and coming members. If you can't talk here then what's the point of being on here. Now you want a way to do a pole on here right then hit Michael an ask about it being built into the app.

I may not be understanding what you mean. You can use the drop down manu, at the top of each thread. Add Poll. wouldn't this do what you are suggesting.

I went to Big Bend last year and it was so awesome. I can't wait to go back this year. I was also exploring the internet for NM areas recently for long weekend trips so I would be interested in either place or both. In Big Bend we stayed at a private campground called Rancho Topanga with a small group of other folks. There are plenty of sites close enough for groups depending on the size of course. The geology in the area is simply amazing. The people however are the strangest you'll ever meet. :grinning:

Just curious, how are the plans for the New Mexico scouting trips going? Do we have nailed down dates? We are still on for the scouting trip to BBNP/BBRSP

Right now I'm up in Dillon Colorado next weekend I head to Los Alamos to meet up with a few members to look at trails.

So we need to do a get together for Albuquerque and people in the near vicinity again. Maybe do a Mt Taylor run or do the Jemez? Gilman tunnels are open again. Maybe Labor Day weekend or the weekend after?

For those meeting this Saturday, what time are you meeting up? Are you doing overnight or no? I have a thing on Saturday until noon-ish, so trying to see if I can make it.

Part of the issue as it relates to folks on here getting together is grouping Az, NM, Tx and Ok is the southwest ? 4 corner states and S. Cal. are the southwest and are all in driving distance to each other. Tex an Ok are midwest. Az is 200 mi. closer to Co. than Tx.
