Check out Letts lake in Mendocino national forest. I was there in September easy fire trail, beautiful lake and a lot to explore.

Depends on the trail, example for Poker Flat trail as long as you have 4Lo you should be fine. However some trails, you might be to wide, like some parts of Barney Riley trail.
