We've been to the Loonse and Drunese dunes today. It is a nature park about 30 min driving from where I live.. No idea why I never went there before, it is pretty awesome there =)
Pity you aren't allowed to take your vehicle in though haha, would have had a field day with the Cruiser :D

I love Joshua Tree. I’m planning a trip mid-May to photograph out there. Can’t wait!

I've been thru there. Did you happen to check out glory hole. It's pretty cool to see a waterfall inside a cave.

We live pretty close to here. Within an hour. We go up to the Glory Hole area quite a bit. So very amazing. There is a great burger joint called the Ozone Burger Barn in Ozone which is about 10 miles southwest of there and on the way from I-40. Awesome burgers. Best in the state I think if you happen to go back that way. Also just north of the Glory Hole is where they imported all of the elk from Colorado. Town called Ponca. Great place to vist and see the animals.
