Running dark in the middle of the Atlantic seeing stars from horizon to horizon unimpeded on a moonless night with zero light pollution is an amazing experience.
It makes one believe they have transcended gravity and are floating in the heavens.

When I was up that way, I just loved Alberta,BC, and AK. I hope to get back up there in the future.
Alberta is Cool! I rented a Jeep last summer and flew the wife up for a week to explore. Soo much to do! Too bad I cant stray to far from the road on my 18 wheeler. If not I would have had much better camp spots at night.

I didn't have one at the time but I do now(Miops Smart). Those where taken with 30 second exposures.

My daughter and I doing some clean up at my favorite fishing hole for her Earth Day school project a few weeks ago. I ran out of bags but their was still plenty left so I'll be making another stop to get the rest later.
