Hello, we are Zahra and Paul from @twoheadnorth and, we are currently finalizing our preparation to overland from Australia to Iceland in our Land Rover Defender (1994) 300tdi home-built micro camper. The car otherwise known as Big Red is going into a shipping container in May 2024 why this is our 1st 4x4 Overland outside of Australia, we have extensively travelled on all the tracks of Australia, motorbiked in Africa, and backpacked around the world independently 3 times. However, we are older now and we are looking forward to this next stage and what the overlanding road provides.

Hello all, my name is Tom and I’m From New Jersey. I spend a lot of the warm weather weekends camping in the woods through the north east and I’m hoping to find some new friends to take some awesome trips! I’m currently building my Ridgeline to get me off the beating path.

It is.. Actually our country still has lots of unpaved roads, forest and trails leading to bodies of water. I will post photos when I get the chance. I have a camp scheduled on the 26th. My friends and I will do a river crossing. I'm actually excited because it's going to be my first river cross..

I’m Shaun and I have a 2008 Toyota 4runner. I live in the East Bay in the San Francisco Bay Area and I’ve been overlanding for 4 years now, mostly in the national forests up and down the Sierra Nevada. It’s been fun and insightful to read all the tips and stories from everyone on these forums. Learned a ton already, so I appreciate this community!
