Howdy all. Been on other forums for a while and recently found this one...really enjoy the topics and discussions.

Live in southern Arizona

Newest/dream ride: 1996 fzj80, purchased in august with 188k miles. Was bone stock, now lifted, snorkel, CDL, just built a rear bumper, and is in the paint shop as I type...and so much more to do....

Previous ride: 2007 FJC (still have)

Overland experience is more short off road adventures. Love to turn a wrench also.

Hello
1) Location: Olympia, WA
2) Rig: 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ80
3) Overlanding Experience Background: I've conquered the Starbucks parking lot

A KLR? I had one of those for a season (I traded it in to buy my wife her dream bike). They are buckets of fun but for some reason as soon as you get one - especially a first-generation KLR - you get allergic to spending money.

I can't believe you're saying KLR owners are "cheap".........

Okay.

I believe it........

:yum:

Whats up?!?

1) Location: Groton, CT
2) Rig: 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited (on order)
3) Overlanding Experience: Never been far off the beaten path in a vehicle. But im ready!

Well im trying to decide if i want to jump the gun and lift it and get bigger tires... it comes with 32s.

The build has:
3.6 v6 auto
Remote start <-- thats why i got automatic
Slush mats
Alpine system
Leather interior
Max tow package
Dual tops
Uconnect navigation stereo
7 spoke rims

Right off the bat im getting a reverse cam from the dealer.
I want a gobi roof rack for my kayak and whatnot. Also eyeing led lights, aev hood and bumpers... etc. All pipe dreams for the moment. I think im going to start small at first. Im trading my 07 dakota and fleetwood popup and putting 10k down to get the 44k vehicle to a more reasonable price.

Hi, How did your trip go. Drove by from highway 120 because of snow conditions in Yosemite.
Went through the Sonora pass a week before the snow started coming in. It was gorgeous! We came back through the day before the rain and snow passed through on our return trip.
