Yellow group Texas Jeep jamboree? Love the arctic package, but I think you might be lost if you have that in TX...

Hi guys. I have no real experience off roading. I'm in Southern California and I'd like to find someone that can kind of show me and my brother (he's a member as well) the ropes to off roading. I picked up a '94 Jeep Wrangler with low miles and my brother drives a Nissan Pathfinder. Any advice at all is appreciated. Thank you!

Hey Larry, welcome to the OB forum. You & your brother have a lot of company down there in SoCal & will have no problem finding folks to show you the ropes, enjoy!

There is a local meet-up in the Phoenix area, if your interested contact @brien for the details.
Thank you Kent! That's super helpful. I'll make sure to reach out to them :)

Hey Todd! Any particular recommendations for a newbie? Campsites, trails, etc.
Depends what your looking for. If you’re ok with crossing the border, Rancho Percebu just South of San Felipe on the Sea of Cortez is a good start. Watch out for the mud!
Death Valley is great park to explore.
Another good option might be the Northern section of the Arizona Traverse.
