Hello OB Members, I'm Tipu in Mission Viejo, CA. Just joined the community a short while ago. I'm a big fan of travel, adventure, the outdoors, nature and yes overlanding. Started with some off the pavement adventures in my 1975 Jeep CJ5 in college days - which has been a second now  Have owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee since and current vehicle is a 2011 Land Rover LR4. While stock except for tires, it has seen its share of off pavement driving including places like Moab, trails in CO and in CA.

Excited to be a part of the Overland Bound community and hope to meet new folks, make new friends, learn and explore together.

Hello everyone!

I'm new to the forums and Overland Bound! I look forward to learning more and getting some good advice as I get more involved in overlanding!

Location: Folsom, CA
Current Ride: 2010 Ford F150
Overlanding Experience: Novice
Why Overlanding: I grew up spending time in the outdoors camping and riding dirt bikes. As time goes on and the body tortures me for my antics when I was younger, I am looking for a new way to explore and take advantage of the beautiful areas in Northern California and beyond.

Vehicles (s):
2015 F350, Carli/Deaver/Fox Suspension, etc etc
2018 4Runner TRD Off-Road w/KDSS... bone stock, just got it.
The list goes on, I have a vehicle addiction issue.

Location: home base is Mi Wuk Village, Ca and San Bruno, Ca. Adventure could take us anywhere!

Experience Level: I’d never heard the term “Overlanding” till last year, but that’s probably because I had my head under a rock somewhere in the forest! I know my way around outdoors and adventure, and I really enjoy learning new methods and perspectives.

This was my favorite and most agreeable description I read here: “Why Overlanding: I grew up spending time in the outdoors camping and riding dirt bikes. As time goes on and the body tortures me for my antics when I was younger, I am looking for a new way to explore and take advantage of the beautiful areas in Northern California and beyond.”
