Location : Chicago Illinois Area
Vehicles: 1998 4runner Limited, 2011 BMW G650GS
Lots of experience off roading, and remote camping.

I work as a full time mechanic, and part time EMT. I’ve loved camping my whole life, and off roading since the day I could drive. I’ve owned a couple Wranglers, and a couple XJ’s over the years, but so far my favorite has been my 4runner. Im excited to learn from all the members here, and hear about some cool vehicles, and travel stories.

Hi all. I finally decided to throw my hat in the ring after perusing this site many times over the years. I love the outdoors and hitting the back roads and moderate trails with my current rig, a 2011 F250 Superduty with the 6.7 diesel. Gregg here, Been an adventurer and explorer most of my life. In fact, was exploring wild places in my Jeep Cherokee before "overloading" was a thing. (at least in the U.S.) Now have an 08 Commander, Sport 4x4. Can't wait to do all the mods I have planned. They've already started ...

Hi, my name is Ken. I am from Middle TN and started doing some overlanding a couple years ago. I've been an outdoor enthusiast for years though. Currently about to start building an 18' T4R TRD Off-road. Previously owned a 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro, 2008 FJ Crusier and a few other Toyotas. Glad to be a member on here.

I am new to any forum.. so hopefully I’m doing this right. I am new to overlanding as well, but have always been into camping and off-roading. I have kids and wife and we live in North West Ohio. More Central/West I suppose, Hardin County. I’m a Pipefitter/Welder by day. EMT/Firefighter by night. My “Rig” is a 2004 Ford Excursion 6.0 PSD. We have been on a couple Michigan camping trips, this last time we went as far as Munising in the U.P. It was a blast. We look forward to expanding our adventuring this year and plan to do some much needed suspension upgrades to the Excursion. We plan on starting in Georgia or Tennessee. I think that was all that was on the list! Happy New Year!! XxJoshua

My rig's an '07 Tacoma Access TRD off road @ 75K on BFG KO2's, with an ARE MX cap and custom built storage/sleeping platform. I live in Brooklyn (born and raised) and 2017 was my first year overlanding, taking my rig into the mountains up and down the east coast every chance I get. I've done some easy 4x4 trails and lots of fire roads, but want to push further. In 2018, I'll making lots more trips and mods. I look forward to meeting folks here, learning all I can, and helping OB in what ways I can.

Thanks for the add. I am new to overlanding. Love camping but I want to explore more. I live in the Pittsburgh, PA area but after living in CO and CA I feel limited in outdoor adventures. I drive a 2006 Toyota Sequoia (only mods so far is leveling lift and spacers). I also recently purchased a M416 trailer which I'm in the middle of restoring and building a lid for. I have three kids so more space will be greatly appreciated on future adventures. Looking forward to learning a lot from this community.
