Welcome! And I must say it is always nice to have another FJ in the Overland Bound East Region!View attachment 87362 View attachment 87363 Hello everyone!!!
I’m Regnell (ree-nel), a newbie to the site. Currently living in Catonsville, Maryland. I own a 2013 TT Edition... Cement Grey. Hoping to downsize to a smaller vehicle, I found this beauty on the showroom floor, never looked back after that. I’ve met some wonderful friends in the off-road community, hope to meet more here!!!

Here is the link to the meetup thread: https://www.overlandbound.com/forums/forums/overland-bound-meetups.24/I'm still trying to find my way around the forums. Where do I find where my local meet ups would be posted?

Welcome to Overland Bound!View attachment 87122Wanted to say hello and introduce myself! We live dead center in the middle of the country in Omaha Nebraska and love to get out camping and exploring anywhere that we can. The truck is a 2004 Tundra with mild suspension upgrades. The camper that I made and you see in the picture is no longer in the truck and we have switched to a rooftop tent. Way lighter! Glad to finally be part of the community! John

Welcome to Overland BoundMy name is Mark.
I live in Fort st John, Canada. Originally from Vancouver Island where I did lots of off-road camping (nothing extreme), hiking etc.
I'd say im a novice to overlanding, slowly setting up my rig and trying to find the time to get out there and explore!
I have a fairly stock 2002 Nissan Xterra (has a few issues that need sorting) and a 2018 Ram 1500 which I am debating on turning into an overland rig (its currently my dd, and work vehicle)
I look forward to getting your guys advice and ideas toward my future endeavors!
Thanks

Welcome to Overland Bound!Hi all,
Just joining the OB community, but have been watching the YouTube channel for some time and love the content. I live in Southern California and love the mountains and deserts in this region. I currently own a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek and do light camping out of that. In the past I have owned various Jeeps and trucks and have had many amazing adventures in them. My favorite past vehicle was my 2006 Wrangler Unlimited (LJ) which I still kick myself for letting go. Within the next year or so I plan on purchasing a new rig while retaining my Subaru for daily driving. Currently looking at mid-sized trucks and 4-door wranglers as options but am open to just about anything (including another LJ.
My overlanding experience background has traditionally been centered around rock crawling on weekend trips and I am excited to learn more and begin taking longer trips in the future. I am fairly familiar with recovery and off-roading, but have a lot to learn in terms of vehicle setup, camping equipment and gear specific to overlanding.
Pic is of my old LJ in Big Bear, CA.

Welcome to Overland BoundGreetings all from Eastern PA! I am brand new to the concept of overlanding and all-wheel drive/4x4's. I recently switched from a VW Jetta which I ran for years and just acquired this 2014 Subaru Forester XT Touring. At this point the only modification I am aware of is the roof basket and the new emblem, but I think the previous owner may have updated the headlights to Morimoto and it has twin Hella horns.
It is my daily driver and was purchased primarily so I would have a car that I could easily transport a kayak and that I could drive places our two Jetta's couldn't. Some video's and posts on overlanding got me thinking that I could do a whole lot more with my vehicle and hope to do some basic mods in the future to improve its offroad ability. @Wawa Skittletits build thread has been inspirational. Funds are extremely tight with my wife pursuing a degree to lead into medical school and myself planning on starting into college soon as well but a few small mods here and there are on the radar.
By night I am a Paramedic in Lebanon and Lancaster Counties and by day I am an excit.... nevermind, by day I mostly sleep LOL. Other than fishing, hunting, hiking and backpacking my primary hobby is leatherworking, you can see my extremely small stock of leather products on Etsy - JEleathercraft

Welcome to Overland BoundHi everyone!
New member from Orangeville, Ontario Canada. Driving a 2017 Nissan Murano at the moment, but hoping to get something more capable in the next little while. Very novice overlander, but lots of outdoors experience. Have done a fair amount of motorcycle riding and dirt biking.
Looking for some easy trails in the area to get started with my wife and toddler.

Welcome! I've got a rather large family as well. We have 8 in total. It's hard to fit that many into a good overlanding vehicle. For most of the years, we had a minivan that took us everywhere. That poor minivan just got battered. We took it where most people would be afraid to take a vehicle that close to the ground! Now though, we have a P38 Range Rover that is just amazing!Hey everyone my name is Jeff and I am just now getting into overlanding. I have a family of 5. (wife, 3 kids ages 1, 5, 7 and myself) so I am still trying to figure out how to overland with such a large family. I grew up in the mountains of NC but now live in Winston Salem NC.
I bought a 2012 Jeep JKU about a year ago. It was then that I came across overlanding while watching some YouTube videos. It was Expedition Overland and Venture4WD that really inspired me to pursue an overland build on my Jeep.
So far I have added the Teraflex performance leveling kit and some BFG KO2's. My next addition will likely be a roof rack and hopefully a RTT.
I would love to explore the Daniel Boone Back Country Byway this summer and make it my first official overland trip.
I look forward to chatting with everyone and learning all there is about the art of overlanding.

Welcome to Overland BoundHey all!!
Just joined today. Used to off-roading and trail riding. Haven’t been out on the trails for over 8 years. Looking to get back into the wheeling community. Co founded JT4X4 down in Connecticut when I was in the Navy with a bunch of buddies. (Club is very active) Had all types of fun in my truck. But haven’t done much lately. Just got a ton of work done and can’t wait to try out all the new stuff!! View attachment 87333View attachment 87334

Welcome to Overland Bound!Hello,
I just joined up on Saturday. I'm from Fate, TX and grew up riding ATVs and going camping. I have had multiple Jeeps, but in 2017 we got a 4Runner and Tundra after hearing so many great things about Toyota. Our first child was born a little over a week ago and I want to make travelling and adventuring a priority in our lives now. The goal is to build up the Tundra to make it great for long distance road trips, as well as exploring mild trails throughout the U.S.
Here is a picture of the Tundra in Colorado last August:
