Try driving a wj and waving at wrangler dudes and all you get back is nothing cause your jeep is inferior in their mind. I only wave at other wjs now cause most wrangler owners are arrogant assholes (no offense to you lol)

I know. It was made in good fun. I'm glad I didn't do the Jeep Liberty bit.

I get waves from GC's once in awhile, and if so, I'll wave back. But when I'm driving my GC, I don't bother to wave.

Loved the bloopers! :) Sounds more hierarchal than the motorcycle wave. Best was a guy on a crotch rocket that started waving at me, then realized I was on a scooter, and yanked his hand in fast as he could.
Lol, there is a hierarchy to some degree. Older Jeeps get the respect before new Jeeps. Jeeps that are not modded initiate the wave to the more heavily modded Jeeps, etc. And if you're driving a vintage WWII Jeep, I'll stand and salute.

When I had my WJ i'd get an occasional wave back. Most wranglers around here are mall-crawlin soccer moms. Seriously. No one around me wheels their wranglers. Most of them buy their JK/JKU and then chrome them out or drag them through the advance auto/auto zone "customization" isle.. lol Around here a ton of ZJ/XJ/WJ off road use is in play, especially the XJ. I wave at other XJ, ZJ or WJ's but hardly at the wranglers, even if I did wave i'd never be able to see them wave back due to the reflection of their chrome plated plastics lol

Lol, no kidding. I think that's everywhere. Usually if I see a modded WK, WJ, XJ, etc., I think they are more serious about off roading than a modded Wrangler. There is a Jeep group here in the area who do a lot of wheelin, but they are few and far between. Also if I see an older Jeep such as a TJ or CJ and it's modded, I assume they are serious too. Otherwise, most people who drive Wranglers around here are high school girls and the soccer moms. I need to get a "mall rated" sticker for my Jeep. We don't have any real wheelin' here in Iowa. Most of it is soft roads.

I don't Jeep wave. I drive a WJ, I'm not cool enough to be waved at, even if I had a wrangler I wouldn't. Too much snobbery in the jeep ranks. I'm not a fan of exclusionary rituals. Seems like we're in high school again and choosing friends based on their shoes or something.

lol I just call it "the wave" because I wave at anybody who needs a wave.. :tonguewink:
