• Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance this week and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Does it pull hard one direction while you're driving? I had one go out on me at about 120k. Replaced it with reman callipers and the r1 concept kit, pads and rotors. Pretty nice kit for the price.

Sort of? It’s developed a pull to the right that has gotten more noticeable lately. There was one day when my brakes made a grinding sound and braking vibrated the vehicle for the rest of the trip, seemed to be located passenger front. Ever since I’ve had a stronger pull to the right at highway speeds. As far as I can tell that has to be a seized or partially sticking caliper. I’ve had caliper issues before and this was pretty much what it felt like.

Going to get my alignment tuned in a month or so just to rule it out, then probably will year into the brake stuff next.

Welcome from another 4th gen owner! The 4th gens are becoming rarer...its great when people still show them love!
Totally agree. Mine I stock now but planning on a lift and tires in the spring and can’t wait to see how she looks!

Don't seem to see many 1st gens here, so here's mine.

85 4Runner. Solid axle, 22R

Fresh motor rebuild
OME lift
Fixed some rust, Raptorlined.
Have a Tepui RTT.. currently on my Jeep until I get my roof rack setup.

Too many improvements to list. Truck was a worn out shell... it's about halfway there. I hope to some day have the confidence to drive it long distances.

I haven't done a whole lot to the rig yet. Everything is planned out; just need to get the funds, now. So far I've done the following:
  • Upgrade to Cooper Discoverer 255/70/17
  • 1" Front strut spacer (love the leveled rake look)
  • Runningboard delete
  • Installed OB Emblem
