I've been to all of those places. None of them require anything beyond the clearance of a 4Runner on almost stock tires with a slight lift. There are certainly areas you can go which require more, but the basic roads are easily traveled in a stock 4WD 4Runner. The only technical part I found...

Just got Bilstein 6112's and SPC Racing UCA's on Black Friday special. Took the rig out to Anza Borrego last weekend to try them out, they're a HUGE improvement over my 5100's. Next up, I hope to find a used Wilco tire carrier.
