RobRed's 2000 UZJ 100 Land Cruiser (Uber LC) aka"Rolling Thunder"

Here is the very first mod I did to the 100 back in 2011. - Pelican 7060 rechargeable LED flashlight. I used 3m double stick on the back of the charger and mated it to the upper arm rest console. I drilled a small hole for the power wire and tapped the 12v socket in the back of the armrest. -...

    looking for an awning recommendation

Thank you for the nice comments on the setup. I'd say that the grommets are stressed but nothing has come apart or looks to be imminent failure. I've not measured the force of the home depot bungie cords but they seem to have enough give to not tear the grommets... yet :-) Having said this...

    Chuck box ideas

I went down the chuck box build road - super fun project. I ended up abandoning it due to weight (wood is heavy) and efficiency in packing it for overland travel. Not trying to talk anyone out of it just be aware of it. Some great designs out there - I've always liked @Corey box but he also...

Spring Break 2018 Death Valley Overland Trip Planning March 25-29 - 03/25/2018

@ArmyofMike 16 is about max limit of rigs and still be manageable. I've led multiple trips with large groups the key is to be organized in itinerary and set expectations. Looks like you have that started above. Let me know if I can help you on the planning. Last Year
