    Overland Safety: First-Aid Kits

    Great thread all. This is one item I am always looking to enhance. I have a small basic kit I carry. However, some of the items I read in this thread are on my list--i.e. splints, wound cleaning supplies that aren't the tiny 'wipies' along with others mentioned. Thanks for the info.

    I was with Sterling Scuba ( now Nautilus Aquatics) out of Northern VA. Since we've moved to Nevada we book our own dives.

    I use a Canon T3i with Sigma lenses for land photo's and a Panasonic Lumix for Underwater. I fab'd a solar shield from welders glass for shots of the eclipse on a HappyOurOverlanding adventure to Idaho last Aug. It worked...LOL

    My wife and I are both Nitrox certified along with a bunch of other certs..... We dove several times at Dutch Springs in PA but definitely prefer the warm climates. We still dive at least once a year now that we took up overlanding as a hobby.
