I like the size of the moon and the detail. You know there is a Lunar Eclipse and Blood Moon on Jan 31st. You should get some shots.

I started really exploring two years ago so it was the 4Runner in Death Valley... and had to learn how to change a flat....LOL :sweatsmile:

I guess the solar eclipse counts as a nature photo.... I made a poster out of the shots I took

Sorry about that..... :flushed: It's an Epson Perfection V500 Photo. It was purchased at least 8 years ago. They have newer models.

I am a multipurpose tool guy so I use a flat bed scanner that has an attachment for slides and pictures. It works quite fine. Have done hundreds of converts to digital. You may want to check Best Buy or Staples out prior to committing. Just thinking out loud here...:sunglasses:

Based on my cargo space design, I am leaning towards a compressor and leave the tanks for my Scuba diving :sunglasses:

Thanks for sharing...did I miss a follow-up video on the how the BFGs performed on the road trip? I tried my hand at video editing.....didn't work out so well. LOL Now my wife takes the videos on her iPhone and edits them on the iPhone..... she is much more talented than me.... :sunglasses...

Meat--ribeye or tri-tip, and BACON.... or BACON wrapped around a steak or a filet or just crispy BACON or Bacon and eggs, or ............

Depending on the meals planned, I take a combo of the following.--an Iron Skillet, a Wok, or a normal frying pan. They all pack nicely in the storage bin. I find the wok and the iron skillet the most versatile

Also use the egg holder. After a 'cracked egg trip,' I found the folded paper towel was key to saving the eggs.
