    That's Not a Knife...This is a Knife.

There are a bunch of great knives in this thread. I myself stick to two basic knives....My father's 1950's issue stainless Army knife with case and my dive knife....

    Camp Photos!

Ellis Peak, CA. - My wife's night shot of our campsite with Lake Tahoe way below in the background. It's a bit grainy but not bad for an old iPhone.

    Covered and other beautiful bridges

Sorry to hear about the fire... but agree with the overcrowding. Here's a shot I took last summer. I had to wait a long time so most folks were off the bridge.

Palm Springs > JTree > Pioneertown > Big Bear

Nice! My wife and I enjoyed this area also in JT... haven't done big bear yet. Your last photo is superb. What camera and settings was the shot taken?

So I looked up RSI Smartcanopy. Now I know to what you're referring. I predict you'll have the best looking rig at the campsite. :grinning:

    Rig Photos

Thanks for the info. I'd probably make my own. I used a similar setup (much shorter though) on decks I built to hold the end post next to the house straight up since they have a tendency of bending outward. this was done in lieu of bolting to the house corner. I'll add it to my wish list...

Ah! got it.... not too many branches here in the desert. LOL. But I can see the benefit when crawling in the forested areas near by.

Nice ride! Looks like you're definitely headed for some river crossings. :sunglasses: So got a question??? What are the two wire-lines on the front of the rig for? I've seen one other rig with them and was curious as to there function. Can't wait to see pics of a few crossings. :grinning:

    Overland Bound Emblems!

I finally put my Emblems on both vehicles.... Now before you die-hard 4x4 'enthusiasts' ding me for adhering the badge to my Hyundai :astonished:, remember it's not always what you drive. It's that your outfitting and exploring. And this little baby worked in a pinch when the 4x4...
