*IF* I go, Google Maps says it is 408 miles there. That means when I arrive, my vehicle will have around 500 miles on the odometer. I ain't gettin' it scratched up yet!
I've seen those recommended elsewhere, as well as the old surplus versions sometimes available. Have you had any occasion to try them with snow or mud? I can see how they would be good in sand, but look like they are too slick for snow/mud. The perforations have the sharp side down, so that...
Welcome to Overland Bound, @ce4460
I don't have a truck, so I don't have any information for you on mounting to a truck cap. In addition to th fiberglass caps, there are also aluminum framed caps that may have more long-term strength.
I do have a Yakima LoadWarrior basket, though, and I have...
Wonderful photos, and quite an adventure! Having had the circus, as you called it, only made the trip more memorable. And taught some lessons for the next time.

@administrator Nope. I now have the button, but it doesn't let me change anything. I can't remove my existing badge, nor change to a different one. Mine happens to show my highest earned badge anyway, so no big deal. These haven't changed in a few months, so it doesn't make a difference to me...
