What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I has their skid plate on my OBXT. There wasn't a mid or snow plate for the third generation Outback, and I didn't do the diff cover. Nice stuff for my use.

    MWO - M416 trailer build

It has something to do with Cody's Google account, as I can't see his photos here or on other forums he posts on. Same with some other users linking to Google hosted images. I'm on Safari on a Mac and an iPad. Cody says it works for him on Chrome when he's not logged in, but then Chrome is a...

    Dual battery

To run any optional equipment from your second battery, you need 12 Volts. So you'll either need to return your 6 Volt battery and get a 12 Volt, or get a second 6V to run in series with your other 6Volt battery. But then you have three batteries! My MG has two 6 Volt batteries in series...

    Jerry Cans -- Wavian

For the ultimate in coolness, how about a stainless steel 20L Jerry can? I just got the latest Deutsche Optic catalog in the mail and this was on the cover. $199 each, with free shipping. (I have a 4-pack of their standard NATO cans.)...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Ah, OK. I wasn't aware that there was a newer all-terrain model. I thought the G015 was another of the number-model all-season. Thanks for the clarification. I sure loved mine, and they still looked new with about 14k miles on them when I sold the OBXT.

Why not the AT/S? Mine were as quiet as the OEM Bridgestones.

    2015 JKURHR Build

@Arkaden Where did you get that map, Chad? That is so cool with the state's license plate image on each one. I'd love to get one of those for our travels!

    Let's see your bike rack!

I have a pair of Yakima Forklift rooftop racks. I've had them in various locations on the Outback. Initially they were on the factory aero crossbars. Then I mounted them to the top of the extended Yakima LoadWarrior basket. Then we got the kayaks, so I took off the OEM crossbars and added a...

Photos of my custom rear offroad bumper on my Subaru Forester.. made by Leadfoot Offroad in Socal

I think the last was in either the first or second generation Outback, but I could be completely wrong. Mine was the third generation, and I know early on, folks were looking what would be needed to make the swap if they could import a 2-speed from an earlier generation.

Photos of my custom rear offroad bumper on my Subaru Forester.. made by Leadfoot Offroad in Socal

That is some of the reason I just sold my 2008 Outback 2.5XT 5MT. Hitting some steep rocky trails, I couldn't go slow enough without slipping the clutch. That was the first time in my life I ever wished I was in an automatic! Or the Australian Outback's 2-speed transaxle.

Welcome to the Overland Bound forum, @GeneralJ ! I'm a little surprised at the Jeep choice over there. I thought everyone in the north drove ArcticTruck prepped Land Rovers! ;)

    ARB Awnings

Here's how I set up the awning solo. I've only done this when it isn't windy, so be careful if in windy conditions. First I unzip the cover, loosen the velcro straps, and roll the awning up on top. Then I swing out the horizontal supports wide enough to clear the awning material, and...
