This is a little delayed due to not being on here for a week. We got home last Sunday. Here's what I posted on Instagram/Facebook
Day 29, 9:18 PM EDT We're back home in NE Ohio! We drove 6785.5 miles, and according to the onboard computer, averaged 16.6 miles. The 4Runner now has 10,063 miles...
Here are a bunch of photos since the last dump.

That might be fine when there are a bunch of you in an area. But in this part of the country, there aren't five members in half the surrounding states, let alone getting them together for just one ride. That's probably the case for any member east of the Rockies. Goals have to be achievable by...
We have reservations here in Bellingham, Washington, at Anthony's for the pre-6:00 sunset dinner for $22 for four courses for Deb's birthday.
Then in the morning, we'll head east for a drive through the North Cascades National Park. We'll try to hit one or two of the unpaved roads on our way...
@[5045:@raundhaus] Sorry I didn't see your reply earlier. We ended up not coming that direction. The NPS got the fire closing the road between Yellowstone and Tetons opened, so we went north, instead.
It sounds like she might be bringing a group to your camp in the spring or summer, she wasn't...
Thanks for the birthday wishes! And Deb's is Friday.
We are now in Bellingham wandering around. If anyone has suggestions let me know. We already came up Chuckanut Drive, which was beautiful!
I'll agree on Petzl. I've been using them for years, and never had a complaint. I'd suggest one with AAA batteries rather than compact models with specialty batteries or rechargeable packs just for convenience of finding replacements
We are in Bothell, Washington for two, possibly three, nights. Moving our daughter into SPU tomorrow evening, and going out for Italian for my birthday in few minutes. Let me know if you're nearby!
(Posting here for visibility)
Uploading photos of the past couple days now that I have an Internet connection that isn't dial-up speed... We are in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho tonight, and will reach Seattle tomorrow.
We're in Jackson, Wyoming, and spent yesterday wandering Grand Teton National Park.
Here's our track from Gaia showing the 16.56 mile rocky/gravel trail along the Snake s was our first real off road experience with the 4Runner, and it easily went places I don't think I'd have taken the Outback...
I met Overland Bound member #1030 yesterday, Joe from Borderland Trailers. This was my first face to face with any member. I got a quick tour of the trailer Joe builds. It has a lot of nice features.
More later
We made it to Davenport, Iowa, for our first day's travel. We will be heading to Lincoln, Nebraska tomorrow to meet up with one of Claire's friends. If we are traveling through where any of you guys live, let me know and we can try to get together!
Michael missed the whole conversation where we were not coming, and suggested to Corrie that you were in need of one. I think he was in Australia at the time, so that's an acceptable excuse. ;)
Curious as to why it is limited one URL? If sig size is a problem, I'd rather have no images instead of limiting URLs. Most forums I'm on don't allow sig images, as they disrupt the flow of the conversation. Signatures don't even show up in the mobile apps, so small screen size shouldn't be a...
